Martin McMurray

Hello! Welcome to my page, my name is Martin McMurray and I am currently a Pricing Analyst at Caterpillar. I grew up in Mundelein, a suburb of Chicago and attended Mundelein High School, graduating in 2019 with summa cum laude. In 2021, I graduated with an Associates in Accounting from the College of Lake County, transferring to the University of Illinois in Fall 2021. At the University of Illinois I excelled academically, earning the Dean's List in Spring of 2022 and maintaining the status of James Scholar within the Gies School of Business. Prior to attending UIUC, I was the assistant scoutmaster and treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 195 and the treasurer of the CLC chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. While in the Boy Scouts, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was initiated into the Brotherhood of the Order of the Arrow. I was also a troop guide and counselor for the National Youth Leadership summer training seminar from 2018 to 2020, where I taught a group of young Scouts the necessities of leadership. Outside of the Boy Scouts, I am also a third-degree Knight of Columbus. After graduation in May of 2023, I became a pricing analyst at Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois, where I currently reside.
